2023 Taipan South Aus state title @ Meningie SA

On 11-12 /feb 2023 @ Meningie SA

This year S/a state titles were held on the weekend of 11-12 Feb 23 @Meningie on Lake Albert

Saturday was a no go with winds over 20 knots, so the day was spent looking around. The club put on a BBQ dinner for everyone.

Sunday was nice sunny moderate winds offshore winds, it stated off in 12 knots flat water good fun

It slowly increased up 18kn with some gusts over 20kn the race committee decided to get 4 races into the morning session before the breeze became too strong again

After noon sailing was cancelled as it was getting too windy again

Everybody had enjoyable time with some good tight sailing

Thxs the committee and helpers at Meningie sailing club for a good regatta
